There will be times when you'll need to send your customers a manual invoice as opposed to Shopify's automated invoicing and payment processing system.
Fortunately, it's a simple process and can be accomplished in a few simple steps:
Step 1: Click here to access our Official MerchMixer Invoice Creator (a Google Sheets file). It's a "read-only" file so you'll have to either make a copy of it on your Google Drive or download it on your computer as an excel file.
To make a copy of the file, simply click on the "File" menu and select "Make a Copy".
To download the file on your computer (in excel format), click on the "File" menu and scroll to "Download", then select "Microsoft Excel".
Step 2: Edit the Invoice with the details of your transaction and send it to your customers. They can then pay for the products using the details on the Invoice.
Step 3: Once you receive payment from a customer, update the invoice with the payment details and retain the file for your record keeping.
